H11 is a chromium-molybdenum hot-work tool steel designed for high-strength tooling subjected to thermal shock and high temperatures.
It provides a balance of toughness, wear resistance, and hot hardness, making it ideal for hot forging dies, die-casting dies, and extrusion tooling.
H11 is usually supplied in the annealed condition (~200–250 HB) for machining and then heat-treated to 45–52 HRC depending on the application.
Note: Values are in accordance with EN 10088 specifications. Actual mill certs available upon request.
