Alloy 441 is a ferritic stainless steel with high chromium content and a small addition of titanium for stabilization. It combines excellent corrosion resistance, particularly against oxidation and atmospheric exposure, with good strength and thermal stability.

It is commonly used in automotive exhaust systems, heat exchangers, and industrial applications where moderate corrosion resistance is required at high temperatures.

Compared to 430 stainless steel, Alloy 441 has better resistance to sensitization and stress corrosion cracking.
