CZ121 is a high-copper brass alloy (~61–63% copper, remainder zinc) that combines excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, and very good machinability. As an alpha beta brass, it is suitable for both cold and hot working, making it versatile for forming, bending, and deep drawing.
CZ121 maintains dimensional stability, even after machining or thermal processing, and is widely used in engineering applications requiring precision, durability, and moderate ductility. Its high copper content gives it superior resistance to atmospheric corrosion and seawater, while the zinc content contributes to strength and hardness.
Note: Values are in accordance with EN 10088 specifications. Actual mill certs available upon request.
