Alloy 5754 is a medium-strength, non-heat-treatable 5xxx series aluminium alloy.
It offers excellent corrosion resistance, good formability, and high weldability, making it suitable for applications in marine, automotive, and general structural environments.
It is widely used where good resistance to atmospheric and seawater corrosion is needed, and where components may be formed, stamped, or welded.
Specifications:
- Typical sheet and plate applications are manufactured according to ASTM B209 or EN standards for aluminium alloys.
- Non-heat-treatable; mechanical strength is obtained through cold working.
Note: Values are in accordance with EN 10088 specifications. Actual mill certs available upon request.
