302	S30200 / 1.4319	C 0.15, Mn 2.0, Si 0.75, P 0.045, S 0.03, Cr 17-19, Ni 8-10, Fe Bal	Higher carbon than 304 for strength; good ductility, corrosion resistance similar to 304. Uses: wire, strip for toughness, food processing, aerospace. Tempers: Annealed to super hard.
304	S30400 / 1.4301	C 0.07, Mn 2.0, Si 1.0, P 0.045, S 0.015, Cr 17.5-19.5, Ni 8-10.5, N 0.11, Fe Bal	Versatile 18-8; atmospheric corrosion resistance; dual certified 304/304L. Uses: general fabrication, food equipment, architecture. Tempers: Annealed to super hard.
316	S31600 / 1.4401	C 0.07, Mn 2.0, Si 1.0, P 0.045, S 0.015, Cr 16.5-18.5, Ni 10-13, Mo 2-2.5, N 0.1, Fe Bal	Versatile 18-8; atmospheric corrosion resistance; dual certified 304/304L. Uses: general fabrication, food equipment, architecture. Tempers: Annealed to super hard.
321	S32100 / 1.4541	C 0.08, Mn 2.0, Si 0.75, P 0.045, S 0.03, Cr 17-19, Ni 9-12, Ti 0.7, N 0.1, Fe Bal	General-purpose martensitic; heat-treatable for hardness. Uses: pump shafts, valves, cutlery. Finish: Annealed/2B.
410/410S	S41000 / 1.4006, S41000 / 1.4000	C 0.15, Mn 1.0, Si 1.0, P 0.04, S 0.03, Cr 11.5-13.5, Fe Bal	General-purpose martensitic; heat-treatable for hardness. Uses: pump shafts, valves, cutlery. Finish: Annealed/2B.
420	S42000 / 1.4021	C 0.15 min, Mn 1.0, Si 1.0, P 0.04, S 0.03, Cr 12-14, Fe Bal	Higher carbon for hardness/wear; heat-treatable. Uses: surgical instruments, knives, bearings. Finish: Annealed/2B.
430	S43000 / 1.4016	C 0.12, Mn 1.0, Si 1.0, P 0.04, S 0.03, Cr 16-18, Fe Bal	Ferritic; good formability, corrosion in mild environments. Uses: appliances, automotive trim. Finish: Annealed/2B.
