Incoloy 800 (UNS N08800) is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy designed for high-temperature strength and excellent resistance to oxidation, carburization, and nitridation. With a balanced composition of approximately 32% nickel and 21% chromium, Alloy 800 offers outstanding performance in both reducing and oxidising environments at elevated temperatures.
This grade is particularly suited for applications operating up to 1100°F (600°C). Above this temperature, the controlled carbon versions (800H and 800HT) are generally preferred for superior creep resistance.
Alloy 800 provides good ductility and is readily fabricated using standard shop practices. It is widely used in heat treatment equipment, petrochemical processing, power generation, and furnace components where reliable performance at moderate to high temperatures is required.
Note: Values are in accordance with EN 10088 specifications. Actual mill certs available upon request.
