CS70 is a high-carbon steel (~0.70%C) known for its excellent strength, hardness, and wear resistance.
It is commonly used for springs, shafts, pins, and other mechanical components where strength and fatigue resistance are important.
CS70 can be hardened and tempered to achieve a combination of toughness and hardness, and its machinability is moderate in the annealed condition.
Note: Values are in accordance with EN 10088 specifications. Actual mill certs available upon request.
