Aluminium 6063 is a medium-strength, heat-treatable 6xxx series alloy with excellent corrosion resistance, good formability, and high-quality surface finish. It is widely used in architectural, structural, and marine applications, particularly where anodized or painted finishes are required.

While not as strong as 6061, 6063 offers superior extrudability and surface finish, making it ideal for complex profiles, decorative structures, and structural tubing.

6063 is commonly supplied according to ASTM B221 (extrusions) or ASTM B209 (sheet/plate), and in British engineering contexts it may be referenced under BS L143 / BS L144 for sheet, plate, and extruded profiles. The alloy is heat-treatable to T5 or T6 tempers for improved strength while maintaining corrosion resistance.

Note: Values are in accordance with EN 10088 specifications. Actual mill certs available upon request.
