Aluminium 1050 is a commercially pure, non-heat-treatable aluminium alloy known for its excellent corrosion resistance, high ductility, and excellent formability.
It is commonly used in applications where electrical conductivity, reflectivity, or corrosion resistance are more critical than strength.
Its soft, malleable nature makes it easy to roll, stamp, or form, and it retains good workability after welding.
Specifications:
Commonly supplied to ASTM B209 (sheet/plate) and EN standards for aluminium alloys. Non-heat-treatable; mechanical strength is achieved via cold working.
Note: Values are in accordance with EN 10088 specifications. Actual mill certs available upon request.
