Titanium Grade 9 (Ti-3Al-2.5V) is a medium-strength alpha-beta titanium alloy that bridges the gap between commercially pure Grade 2 and high-strength Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V). It offers higher strength than Grade 2, while maintaining excellent formability and weldability, making it particularly suitable for thin-wall tubing and cold-worked
components.
Grade 9 provides outstanding resistance to seawater, chlorides, and many chemical environments, along with good fatigue resistance and moderate high-temperature capability.
The alloy is widely supplied to ASTM B265, B338, B348, and aerospace specifications such as AMS 4943, 4944, 4945, and 4946, depending on product form
Note: Values are in accordance with EN 10088 specifications. Actual mill certs available upon request.
