Alloy X is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum superalloy known for its exceptional high temperature strength and oxidation resistance. It maintains excellent mechanical properties up to approximately 1200°C and offers very good resistance to oxidizing and reducing atmospheres.
It is widely used in gas turbines, furnace components, petrochemical processing, and aerospace applications due to its outstanding fabricability, weldability, and thermal stability. Alloy X also resists carburization and chloride stress-corrosion cracking better than many other high-temperature alloys.
Note: Values are in accordance with EN 10088 specifications. Actual mill certs available upon request.
